Product Overview
Matrixyl 10mg
Matrixyl (palmitoyl pentapeptide-4) is the lysine-threonine-threonine-lysine-serine pentapeptide KTTKS with a palmitic acid (C16) chain on its N-terminus, Pal-Lys-Thr-Thr-Lys-Ser. KTTKS is a fragment of the C-terminal propeptide of type I procollagen; the palmitoyl group makes the molecule more lipophilic. In laboratory research it is used in fibroblast cell models to study extracellular matrix signaling, including collagen and fibronectin synthesis.
